Happy Easter!!!!

What an amazing Easter! It was such a blessing being able to spend Easter with family and especially with my new little family. Kellen made this Easter extra special for Matt and I.

We started our Easter weekend by visiting with Kellen's Gran and Grandad before venturing to Monticello. Kellen was surprised with a sweet Easter gift bag. He received an Easter egg and cute summer outfit. We are all hoping it will warm up soon so he can wear it. We visited for a little while and then got on the road to Monticello.

Easter morning Kellen was of course dressed to a "T", plaid pants, button up orange shirt and argyle sweater vest to match. Not only did he look so super handsome he was perfect in church! Cooing and smiling at the right times and finishing the closing hymn with his very on rendition. He is our "Little Man!"

After church we were able to catch some pictures before he had enough and was ready for his afternoon nap. However, the afternoon nap didn't come like he wanted. We went to my Grandmothers for Easter dinner and he wanted nothing more than to be sleeping. Heather took him so that I could eat and he finally gave it up! He was soooo tired! Once everyone finished eating it was time to hide the Easter Eggs. The kids were so excited, Kellen hadn't the slightest clue what was going on so he stayed at the house while the kids went on the egg hunt. He visited and played for a while then we ventured back Nana's and Papa's. There he received his Easter gift and got a teething ring and a floor time toy, he also got a couple of outfits from his Aunt Heather! We are so fortunate for everything and very grateful!

This Easter was wrapped up at home with the Burchett's, Matt, Hope and Kellen! We sat in the formal sitting room and talked and looked through our Easter baskets. Should I mention that Kellen was asleep! Yep! He slept through it all. Although he slept it gave Matt and I the great opportunity to gaze upon the beautiful baby boy that God so richly blessed us with. We are forever grateful for our bundle of joy and pray that each Easter to come will be as wonderful as this Easter!
